Curtis Sound Designer, Jon Brennan, composed the music for a new short film, Checking Out. The film was directed by Los Angeles based director and former Cincinnati native, Brian Lazarte. The films sound track was recorded to picture at the Curtis studios on January 11th. Ken Lam of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra conducted the string quartet of fine Cincinnati players. Gerry Itzkoff – Violin, Mari Thomas – Violin, Joanne Wojtowicz – Viola, Jennifer Wheatley – Cello.
