Queen City Winds, a woodwind quintet led by bassoon player Carol Aufmann, met at the Curtis Audio Studios on June 18th to record Wind Quintet No. 2 by Cincinnati composer Richard Arnest. On July 9th the group returned to Curtis to record original compositions, Mesas and Torbellinos, by Cincinnati composer Robert Johnson.
